1) Update keadaan keseluruhan di Mansurah
-Seramai 32 orang pelajar Malaysia Mansurah terkandas di Airport Cairo.
-Perintah berkurung dilanjutkan dari pukul 1ptg sampai 8 pagi keesokannya
-Connection (SMS, Internet putus) tapi direct call in and out masih boleh
- Barang2 mostly dah naik harga
-Keselamatan keseluruhan banyak bergantung pada keprihatinan masyarakat Arab setempat untuk jaga daripada banduan dan lain2
-Aktiviti persatuan dan universiti dibekukan

2) Tindakan PCM
-Keadaan di Mansurah insyaAllah selamat dan terkawal
-PCM dah rangka sistem keselamatan untuk setiap kawasan (ada ikhwah jaga setiap kawasan, akhawat memang xkeluar langsung kecuali ada hal penting, dan berteman musyrif)
-Rompakan @ harassment kepada pelajar Malaysia Mansurah setakat dilaporkan masih tiada
-Semua pelajar dalam keadaan berjaga-jaga
-Sekarang dalam rangka update bilangan terkini pelajar malaysia yang ada kat Mansurah

3)Harapan dan doa

Report on Intellectual Discourse: Syiah

On 17^th January 2011, Training and Development Bureau, MRC Talhah collaborated with Islamic Care Bureau, MRC Maimunah and Dakwah and Tarbiyyah Bureau, Profaz Club had organized an intellectual discourse entitled “Syiah: Does it contradict with Islam? How about other ideologies?”. The event was held at Main Auditorium, Kulliyyah of Medicine, IIUM Kuantan and started on 9.00pm until 11.30pm. About 400 audiences had joined this programme and had a fruitful question and answer session.

We have been receiving / have received many complaints regarding the Kiosk at CF Brother. We are all (MRC and residents alike) aware that the problem has been occurring since last year, 2010, or perhaps longer than that. 

Since our first meeting on January 5 2011, we had decided to entrust this issue under Entrepreneur Bureau. during our recent general meeting on January 26 2011, they (Entrepreneur Bureau) had reported some progress on the matter.

Report on ISCAR 2011

From 17^th to 24^th of January 2011, MRC Talhah collaboration with MRC Maimunah, SRC and KBSs organized an IIUM Sports Carnival 2011 (ISCAR 2011) or formerly known as Inter-Kulliyyah Games (IKG). This program held annually to cultivate students of IIUM Kuantan Campus to actively involved in Sports activities, by doing so students not only limits their talents inside the class but also show their greatness on sports and become athletes to represent their kulliyyah. MRC Talhah and Maimunah has been gave the opportunity and responsibility to managed and organized the in-door games that includes Badminton, Table Tennis, Chess and Carrom. These indoor games were held in IIUM indoor sports complex at CF Sister (CF Maimunah) during the night starting from 8.15pm till 11.oopm throughout the week. Most of the organizing committees were also recruiting from the Mahallah residents, hence we gave them the opportunity to enhanced their talents by organizing the program at the same time produce a multi-tasking students in our beloved campus. Overall, we can say that the MRC Talhah and Maimunah has successfully collaborated in order to give all participants from each kulliyyah fairly services, and justly in managing the games. InsyaALlah this annualy program will benefits us in the future.

Al-Fateh Workshop

Around 2 weeks ago, on 9th January 2011, Al-Fateh Workshop was held at Multipurpose Hall (MPH), Kulliyyah of Medicine (KOM). The workshop was organized under Islamic Care Bureau (ICB) MRC Talhah in collaboration with Students' Representative Council (SRC) IIUM Kuantan. The programme was organized in conjunction with CAMPRO (Campus Dakwah Project) 2010.

1. THEFT AT IM2 (BROTHERS' MAHALLAH)

The first issue was regarding the unfortunate theft incident which happened on 30th December 2010 at Mahallah Talhah, IM2. These are the details, credit to Welfare Bureau;

MRC Induction Programme 2011

Last Wednesday, 5th January 2011, MRC Talhah had undergone an Induction Programme at IIUM mosque, Kulliyyah of Medicine. It was our second meeting together. The first one was back in December 2010, when we gathered for the first time with Ustaz Ali, the Principal of Mahallah Talhah.
