2. ABANG D's CAFE (IM2)
We received complaints regarding the cafe at Brothers' Mahallah, dubbed "Cafe Abang D".
Among the residents' dissent/protest (tak puas hati) are:
- Unreasonable rise in food and drinks prices
- Getting the ordered food very late (from the time of order)
The Welfare Bureau had also conducted a survey regarding the issue. The results were:

From the survey, majority think:
- The food was delicious and fresh.
- The food was not prepared at a reasonable time (makanan yang ditempah siap lambat sangat)
- The prices were unreasonable
- Need more cafes
- The existing tender needs to be replaced with a new one
- The existing tender need not be replaced, but improvised
The above two issues were brought up during the MRC Induction Programme last week, and some solutions had been achieved;
1. The prices of drinks have been standardized to that of the prices in cafes inside Kuantan campus.
2. Food prices have been researched again.
3. A survey last Monday (3 January 2011) showed food prices have decreased 50-80 sens.
Any comments and suggestions are welcomed.
Thank you.
